About the Director
Jason Yamamoto was raised in Torrance, California and studied filmmaking at Chapman University with an emphasis in directing. His work has been recognized at film festivals such as LA Shorts, NFFTY, and the Independent Shorts Awards, with stories that focus on family, identity, and finding one’s place.
